I try to log on and I am told that my e-mail address doesn't exist in these files. I have at least $35 in my account. I see from comments that others are having the same problem. How can I log on and download music when my account seems to have been closed down even though there is still money in it?

The LegalSounds services has been closed down. This means your account is no longer valid. Even if the software is still present on your computer, there won't be the possibility to download MP3s from the servers since they've been shut down. You will have to look for another service. Why not try rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.spotify.com">Spotify or Pandora? They're free, and although you can listen an enormous quantity of tracks, you won't have download them since streaming can be achieved on almost all platforms.
Do you have a new Mac downloader? If not, can I use a PC with my old Mac account which has lots of money in it?

The answer is NO because the application has been discontinued and not supported anymore by its official developer. You might need to look for an alternative regarding MP3 downloading using legal stores.
This application allows you to download MP3s legally from known online stores. To burn the files to a disc, you can install Ashampoo Burning Studio which is an all-around burn solution.
The service was discontinued.Even if you manage to re-install the application, the online services will not work. You will not be able to log-in using your details.
